Fat-Dissolving Injection Ingredients: What's NOT Included Matters.

As a clinic that thoroughly researches and performs fat-dissolving injections,

we believe that excluding unnecessary ingredients is as important as achieving results.

For fat-dissolving injections,

we believe a clean and pure formulation is most important, rather than an aggressive one.

Many people who come for Clean Cut injections often ask,

How many cc is it? How quickly will it work?

Volume is certainly important.

​

However, it's crucial to also consider what ingredients are included and, more importantly, what ingredients are excluded.

A fat-dissolving injection shouldn't just be a treatment that temporarily makes your face look slimmer.

We believe that the cleaner the line-creating procedure, the cleaner the ingredients should be, which is why we created Clean Cut with that philosophy in mind.

The core ingredients for directly reducing fat are divided into DCA and CA.

Among these, products with original ingredients approved in Korea include V-OLLIT and NEWBEAU.

This led us to consider:

We thought about the ingredients that should NOT be included in Clean Cut.

1. Steroids: Can help reduce inflammation and swelling.

​

When included in fat-dissolving injections and acting on the skin or subcutaneous fat layer, they can cause localized skin atrophy, fat atrophy, and pigment changes.

High doses of steroids can lead to hair loss, thinning skin, and skin depressions. Furthermore, they can cause changes in the menstrual cycle or irregular bleeding. Therefore, we have boldly removed steroids from Clean Cut.

2. Hyaluronidase: An enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid.

It's used to dissolve fillers. When hyaluronidase enters the body, it can cause allergic reactions.

Also, hyaluronic acid naturally exists in our skin and subcutaneous tissues. Hyaluronidase, which can dissolve it in the extracellular matrix, can reduce skin hydration, elasticity, and support.

3. PPC (Phosphatidylcholine): An ingredient that was widely used in the past. Rather than directly destroying fat on its own, it was used in conjunction with DCA.

However, PPC has been associated with issues such as inflammatory reactions, pain, swelling, nodules, skin irregularities, and tissue damage. Inflammatory, necrotic, and fibrotic reactions have also been observed. Moreover, it has a high potential to leave behind lumps and uneven tissue, which is why we consider PPC an unclean ingredient.

4. Diuretics: May appear to reduce fluid and swelling.

However, we believe the purpose of a fat-dissolving injection is to address the fat layer, not to remove water. Additionally, diuretics can cause dehydration, electrolyte imbalances, dizziness, and hypotension. In severe cases, they can even pose a risk of inducing arrhythmias.

Therefore, we created Clean Cut without any of these four ingredients.
